About Paws & Rest

It started with Mabel.

Mabel is my two year old miniature dachshund, and like most dachshund owners I already knew the statistics before she even came home. Bad backs. Joint problems. The kind of breed that gives you everything and asks your heart to hold its breath in return.

I started Paws & Rest not because Mabel is struggling, but because I refuse to wait until she is.

Watching her curl up at night, seeing how much she trusts me to keep her comfortable and safe, I realised that most pet stores treat dogs like an afterthought. Generic products, rushed shipping, nobody who actually cares whether what arrives at your door genuinely helps your dog or just looks good in a photo.

So I built the store I wished existed. One focused entirely on comfort, calm, and quality of life for the dogs who mean everything to us.

Every product on Paws & Rest is something I would use for Mabel myself. If it wouldn't make her more comfortable, more settled, or happier, it doesn't make it onto the store. Simple as that.
